Utonga Gallery is owned by Tim and Dawn Anderson and is located in beautiful Mt Pleasant SC, just across the Cooper River from Charleston. Brigitte Surette is Utonga's Gallery Manager.
We started selling Zimbabwe Sculpture in March of 1998 and in 7 years we have become the largest dealer in the USA. We have close relationships with many of the artists and we take pride in our commitment to fair and honest dealings with all the artists. We co-published a book on Zimbabwean Sculpture in May of 2003, "New Visions in Stone", written by Celia Winter-Irving.
Our philosophy is based on honest dealings with both artist and customer, and our aim is to provide the finest quality Shona Sculpture at the most competitive prices anywhere. Our gallery comprises 1900 sq ft and we usually have at least 1500 pieces in stock .......and a container always on the way! We have the largest and finest selection anywhere on Earth.
