Colleen Madamombe is a veteran of the Shona Sculpture movement and her work has been exhibited worldwide. Her focus is on the role of the woman in modern life, and her sense of humor is legendary. Many of her works address the pride a woman feels while at the same time looking at the traditional roles women play in a male dominated society. Colleen seems to have found some new energy lately and she is producing some fantastic work.
