"Mbira" is sculpted in Springstone by John Gutsa. The mbira is a musical instrument, often called a Thumb Piano, and it is played inside a "resonator", usually a large gourd. The resonator is lined on the outside with bottle caps or seed pods which give an additional percussion sound. John Gutsa works with Dominic Benhura at Dominics Studio in Harare. Shipping will be $60 within the contiguous USA.
